CAI Central Council & General Body Meeting was held at Delhi on 5th Feb 2012. Some important decisions were taken therein. The meeting was attended by most of the council members and 14 State Associations. Most of the members opined that instead of conducting big prize money tournaments CAI should conduct many small prize money tournaments in various parts of the country. Many State Representatives felt that due to sustained efforts of CAI , the state bodies are confident of relieving the burden of CAI towards State Associations and therefore it was agreed by all that CAI shall contribute only towards prize funds from 2012. It was also decided to increase the entry fee, but organizers are advised to keep the entry fee as low as possible.
